The London Eurovision Party and escXtra.com are pleased to add another act to the list of of performers performing at the London Eurovision Party. Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst will join the party, which is to be held in the Café de Paris on 2nd April!
Conchita: A convincing winner
Conchita really doesn’t need much of an introduction. Back in 2014, Rise Like A Phoenix achieved a clear victory in the Eurovision Song Contest. It was the first victory for Austria since Udo Jürgens in 1966. Austria managed to have a 52 point gap over the runner-up, The Netherlands. Conchita also managed to win both votings. She did that in both the Grand Final as well as in the second semifinal.
After the Eurovision Song Contest
After her participation in Eurovision, the Austrian diva went on to have a bright career. The European Parliament invited her to perform there, and so did the United Nations. Furthermore, she went on to be invited to many events all over Europe. She released her first album, Conchita, a little more than a year after her Eurovision victory. In 2016, Conchita graced the stage of the Sydney Opera House. It won’t be Conchita’s first time at the London Eurovision Party. She took part in the event twice before: 2014 and 2015. And now, on 2nd April 2017, she will once again take the stage of the London Eurovision Party.
Not one, not two, but three winners!
Conchita is the third Eurovision winner joining the line-up for the London Eurovision Party. Besides the Austrian diva, London will welcome two more winners. In the build-up to the Eurovision Song Contest in Ukraine, many shows invited Ruslana. She will indeed also join the party at the Café de Paris. Furthermore, we’ll go back in time with 1992 winner Linda Martin. Linda will return to the party once more to take the stage.
It is safe to say that we are really looking forward to the London Eurovision Party 2017 in just two weeks. Conchita’s performance will surely be another highlight on a packed evening. So, bis bald at the London Eurovision Party 2017!
