Demo versions of the 40 songs remaining in the running to represent Finland in Baku have now been released online.

The 40 songs which will be whittled away by YLE's jury is also the first time we have seen the list of singers who are bidding to make it to the live shows for finland's new show, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailun.

Eurovision fans will notice that there are very few names notable in the Finnish Eurovision world, with the sole exception of Eveliina Määtä who took part in Euroviisut 2011, qualifying to the final with the Jury's wildcard and finished somewhere between 4th and 10th as the full results were never revealed.

Finns themselves will note however that there are some fairly well known artists taking place with Freeman & Uusi Fantasia and Stig being among the noteworthy additions.

Close to half of the songs at 16 are in the Finnish language, with 23 in English (or with English titles) and one in Swedish. The songs can be heard here.
