Finnish band Iconcrash who are one of the lucky 12 acts in this year's new concept national final 'Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu' have made history by having the first song from a Finnish National Final to be the most requested song on state broadcaster YLE's radio offshoot, YLEX prior to the contest.

Their song 'We Are The Night' is one of two songs in the 71 song list from UMK, with the other song being Stig's Laululeja which sits at #22.

Iconcrash beats out several big name international stars such as Adele, One Direction, Adam Lambert and David Guetta in their unprecedented leap to the top.

Iconcrash is one of the 6 acts who will face elimination next Friday in the 3rd show of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu, and spoke to us a few days ago in an interview that will be published in the next few days. You can hear their song 'We Are The Night' below.
