Promos!

  1. jw HI. I'M ADAM SCOTT.

For the first time ever, I publicly agree with Chris :D
  2. Almila i am what i am

i dont believe in forcing jw to vote first, quick, whatever u call.jw n future hosts should have the right to listen, decide, change mind n vote at the end.if u think jw or some other host might change his-her votes accordin to the situations,he-she can do it easily by sayin that he-she changed his-her mind n post new ones.how come ull get the difference.plus reposting, changing can effect members opinions.if we dont trust eachother what r we doin here then.ps:if u think im defendin jw,no its a decision for all of us.we might be the host one day n i want my friends to trust me not ask me to prove my honesty.
  3. Mina Member with a "past"

Not to be argumentative (although I am by nature:P) are you telling me that you know that well all the 37 people who take part and that each one of them could be the next host? And that you trust them all?
If that's the case, maybe I'm the weird one..loooooooooool
  4. Almila i am what i am

ofc not mina.i dont know u or the others well just like u dont know me well either.my point is in my opinion this contest is for fun, results do not matter.so ive never thought that some of u would take it this serious n cheat-play with votes.because im here to have fun n im just enjoyin my moments not thinkin whats goin on behind.obv im the only one thinkin this way.thats why after readin arbens post i was like what the?maybe im too friendly or naive maybe thinkin too positive but no need to argue thats my opinion n im still lookin for the fun side

I do also tbh not mind what kind of decision a host takes when it comes to releasing the votes publicily, but for the sake of security I kinda agree with Arben and Mina. I know we're friends and trust each other in this contest, but since we've got so many newcomers where some of them only use this site to attend our contest, we must unfortunaly act equally to each other IN THE CONTEST, our relationship in the chat is another case. If some of the newcomers soon win, I would find it naive to not have some insecurities with the host's votes.
  6. jw HI. I'M ADAM SCOTT.

With respect, I'm not a newbie.
  7. No, you're not Almila :) I totally agree with you.
  8. Almila i am what i am

yay!thank you so much Anette :)
  9. People are certainly foolish to trust me

*rigs the votes so Jonny wins with "Kuma hé" by 300 points*
  10. Jonny Ginger Tory Witch

K3? K3? K3? I have standards you know, sheep :D But ty for rigging it anyway, its the thought that counts after all :P
  11. OMG Jonny, and you forbade me to enter K3 in our JECSC :o
  12. Jonny Ginger Tory Witch

Did I? Oh LOL :D Oh well they are horrific .. at best! :P (Imo ofcourse, although i'm sure many people share the same opinion :D)

We'll see what you'll say when DOMSTOS wins. :)

I have to agree with Mina and Arben... It's what some of us said in the 7th edition but was left unnoticed... Especially now that we see that any point can affect the placings, since they are so close, the points of the host have to be announced so that they are not changed later...

And btw, excuse me for disappearing from the site lately... For some reason, which I don't know, I can't access the site with my own IP...:(:( So, if you decided about this in the chat please let me know... Although I can guess what the final decision will be anyway:P
  16. Liam Esterran.

I don't think the host should have to publicly vote. Surely then wouldn't the obvious happen? If you don't get any votes for the host, you might then in return not vote for them! It's the same issue but on a much larger reversed scale. Instead of one person not voting for someone, it's a potential 37 (or 27 I guess) people not voting.

Besides, i'd like to think we trust each other enough to handle this like adults.

Or at the very least the host could email someone who Automatically qualified with their votes at the start of the semi final votes, and they could email someone who didn't qualify with their votes in the final to be an independent, unbiased source?

    Just a suggestion I guess.
  17. Being the host of the 8th edition of our ECSC and not revealing my votes beforehand I just want to say that from the moment I had access to the voting link I did not change my votes in any way ;) I expect you to take my word for it, or ....:@
  18. jw HI. I'M ADAM SCOTT.

No. Everybody under the new system from #7 has a right to change their vote until close. Including the host. The host should not be punished for winning the last contest. It's a hard enough job organising the next contest with loads of entries as it is, and you expect the host to then have to listen to all the songs before everyone else and make a firm unchangeable vote?

    Once again, no.

We're adults in a playground full of children who obviously think that I changed my vote in #9 to beat Patte by 1 point, despite the fact Patte got 10 points from me and - contrary to what certain people have said to other people - was absolutely never in contention to receive my 12 anyway.
  19. Alex Identified Flying Object

    I can't but agree with you,Kots(and Arben & Mina)
I only noticed how it could work the other way , and i also believe it's a better way
And xD at your last sentence:P:P:P
  20. kotsios Call me Kots. Potter Kots

I don't want this to sound the wrong way but we never actually discussed about it... It was like those of us who believed that you should have announced your votes in the 7th contest just stopped telling you to because we knew it was very time-consuming. And btw I remember that when I hosted (during my exams) I had listened to all songs at least 3 times before attempting to make the recap... but anyway...

Btw, I believe that what Liam suggested could work. It might even be the best solution... Although what he said before that was contradicting... You believe that we are adults enough to trust the host about their votes, but we are not adults enough to vote fairly for someone who didn't vote for us?
