So here it is:
Not a fan myself.
Ja keu es ama! This is amazing. If this sounds the same live, I have a number one for Kiev.
It really isn't. ROW, or, to quote Merjan, "FUCKING ROW" comes to mind.
It pains me to agree with James, but I really, really like it.
Oh, wow, I really like this. Way to go, France
Says it all really. No doubt Milton will join in as well.
its ok best so far but nothing special
I confirm that I am officially joining in
here is a live version which is even weaker than the studio, there are parts she cant hold on the chorus and even in some verses.
Polemic has started, the french song was performed and recorded live in 2015 (!) which obviously goes against the rules. The video has been already taken down as a try to make it all go unnoticed (bit too late as several sites already mentioned it). I'm guessing like last year 1944 EBU will do nothing about it.
You can access, the now broken link, of the performance in here.
I didn't see the video, but people also said the video was uploaded in December 2016. Anyone can stick a '2015' title to it if they're up for a little fun. And indeed, the rules have been changed to 'not realeased commercially' - which is why 1944, Birds and Never Alone (DMGP2015) got away with it, I guess...
The person who uploaded was French so I doubt that she made that on purpose and in fact it was upon request on the comments from several people that she removed the video from public view. If the said person wanted to make it get disqualified she wouldn't have removed the video herself specially being from the same country.
It was from a small concert that she went to watch that she recorded that and several other songs from her, but indeed like 1944 nothing will be done which is in my opinion unfair but wtwat.
As I said, I didn't see the video, I only saw those comments. I think it's a bit of an odd rule... It's all up to EBU's judgement what is 'commercially released'.
After letting Ukraine get away with it their hands are tied they cant DSQ France, wether thats a good thing or not though lol
It has now been confirmed by both the singer and the French delegation that the Eurovision version of the song will be bilingual.
France decided to fuck it up and make this the official version where it just doesn't seem right on the transition at all.
I can't see why France would want to shoot themselves in the foot like this. The English sounds pretty bad, and the backing track doesn't seem to fit nearly as well
What did France do? This english lyrics are so bad...
