No I just didn't give that song a chance when I first listened to it. But it is amazing, no matter who likes it or who hates it.

As I read it, they say the song was offered to both Eric Saade and Westlife but they both refused.
Whether that was for 2012, or earlier isn't clear to me!

It says that Waterline was written by Swedish Nick Jarl. It was earlier submitted to Melodifestivalen sung by Eric Saade. Rumour has it that it was originally written for Westlife.

I couldn't see Westlife singing something like this, unless it was a very different version.
