Before the last contest I said I was terrified - of jw's reaction to whatever song I chose. Whatever I did would have been wrong, and hence a difficult but panicky choice. jw did not disappoint of course, and neither did Edwyn, getting me into the Final for the first time. (YAY! Thanks to everyone who helped in this endeavour.)

This time I am so excited about my song, which I have only recently discovered.

This is a powerful ballad sung by a South American singer who was formerly part of a successful duo. It is in Spanish and the singer accompanies himself on the piano. A couple of people might know it, but I don't think it is particularly famous. (I hope not anyway.)

It's really difficult to say what the song is about without giving the title away, so I will just say it talks about life and the memories we have. The video shows the circle of life.
