Hello!

It's time send your song for the sixth annual Eurovision Edition of the escChat Song Contest.

As is now the tradition, it will be anonymous, so the participant who the song is representing won't be revealed until the voting stage. Just like the last three years, it will probably be live.

Remember the song must not be from this year's Eurovision, must never have won Eurovision and must not have been sent to E1, E2, E3, E4 or E5. A full list of E1, E2, E3, E4 and E5's songs are included below so you can know which songs are off limits.

As the songs probably won't be revealed until the actual night, and there's a high risk that multiple people will try sending the same song, please submit a ranked shortlist of potential songs. I recommend 5 or so, but the actual amount is up to you. That way if your first choice is taken, you'll get your second choice (etc etc) on a first come first served basis and it doesn't spoil the surprise by having to tell you that your song has already been taken. Hopefully this is obvious, but don't tell anyone what you plan to send! It ruins the surprise.

You should provide a YouTube link and a recap time. The recap duration will be 20 seconds only and this is not flexible. There is no need to pick a results show segment.

Also keep in mind this is will probably be a live edition and, if that is confirmed, you must be in the chat room on the date which is TBC to participate in this contest which will have a 15-20 minute voting window only. Failure to do so will result in your disqualification and banishment from future editions of the contest, unless you pre-arrange to vote in advance.

Submission is open from now until 22nd March, and I've posted this now without warning so I don't get an avalanche of entries at once, and this way nobody is prejudiced, as it is a level playing field for all.
