  I was just kneeling on my bed changing the sheets etc when It fell through. It's always been an annoyingly creaky bed. Who is liable for this, considering I've done nothing with the bed other than what it's intended to be used for? I've no idea how old it is but surely I'm not liable if it's just come to it's natural end? My husband will kill me!

    On a serious note, is it just the slats that go across the bed? If so they are very easy to replace. You can get individual ones on the internet or buy a complete set with the webbing in between each slat. They are very easy to fit. If just one has broken, then move the broken slat to the end of the bed and use the one at the bottom to replace the broken one. That will provide a temporary fix so Onslow can have a good night's rest. How altruistic I am.
