You might think the proudest day in Furnyland was when we won the contest for the third time in succession, being so far the only nation to do so. You might think the proudest day in Furnyland was when North Korea thrashed Portugal 7-0 in the World Cup. You might think the proudest day in Furnyland was when we deployed our nukes on Arbana for failing to vote. All of those have been hailed as great victories for Furnyland. But they have all been eclipsed by the events in FATLOAD and the surrounding regions that took place on Friday, 9th July 2010. Our cyber warriors decided to finally eradicate the world of Neapiri once and for all. We'd grown sick of the fact that they tried to pass off Festival of Freedom as the 'true' contest. We'd run out of patience with them taking our hard work and uploading our recaps, taking our audited data, our logos, everything about our contest's history and pretending it was theirs. Our previous nuclear tests on Støkkanslåndet and the attack on Arbana were just warm-ups for the main event. Furnyland's proudest day was when we finally wiped Neapiri off the map forever. First, their STOLEN YouTube videos of OUR recaps were vaporised (e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdkgU3qMmZQ) and then after little resistance when confronted with the might of Avalon's superpower, their entire empire crumbled away (http://escchat.webs.com) after a sustained shock and awe nuclear attack on Neapiri thanks to our new favourite legal term: copyright. Remember, they were the ones who started this war and feud last year. We offered truces and amnesties. We really gave them a chance to do the right thing. They chose to continue down this path and eventually we had to react. I couldn't keep letting them get away with the blatant theft of my time-consuming hard work and intellectual property. Taking the logos, recaps, biographies and results presentations of Editions 1-5 (remember, Editions 3 and 5 didn't have recaps or tabulated results until I retrospectively added them in early 2010) and re-badging them as Festival of Freedom editions was the final straw. In what is reported to be a period of mourning in Pidbandid after their worst day ever, Furnyland and the rest of Avalon celebrate and worship Kim Jong-il and Kim il-Sung with non-stop renditions of the Ode to Kim Jong-il by the Kim il-Sung Singers: VIVA LA REVOLUCION! VIVA LA ESCCHAT! VIVA LA FURNYLAND! VIVA LA JUCHE!
