CHAPULHUACANITO, June 19 (NOTIMAS): Now that edition #23 has come to an end with the victory of Jamoukovia, every participating country is preparing for edition #24; which will take place in the capital city of Crusty. And Masiosare is no exception.

Weeks ago, it was announced that, due to national holidays, Masiosare would debut in edition #24; and now that song submissions are open, MasRTV has announced that the first ever representative of the country has been selected and submitted.

"We've just submitted our first Masiosarean representative to the ESCchat Song Contest. We are really happy and we're looking forward to making a great debut", said Pepe Páez, Masiosare's Head of Delegation.

As the Song Contest rules establish, the entry can't be publicly announced. Nevertheless, Pepe Páez could give some information concerning the selected entry: "As I mentioned weeks ago, the debuting song will be in Spanish. It's an uptempo pop song that combines classic guitars with modern sounds that will stick in your mind for days; and it also has an interesting lyric. About the interpreter, I'll only say it's a group. Boys? Girls? I won't say anything else", he said.

MasRTV: "GREAT VIEWING FIGURES IN MASIOSARE".

According to MasRTV, the viewing results of the Final of Edition #23 were better than expected. "We'd be more than satisfied if we could get a marketshare of 30%. Instead, we nearly doubled that figure, with 58.7%, which means that nearly six out of every ten Masiosareans were watching the Final. Now more than ever we are sure we have made a good decision by entering to the ESCchat Song Contest", says Maurilia Jonguitud, CEO of MasRTV.

+CANAL TO PAIR WITH MasRTV FOR SUBMITTING ENTRIES.

Because of the great viewing figures achieved in edition #23 of the ESCchat Song Contest, +Canal, the second most important Masiosarean broadcaster, has made a deal with MasRTV for sending a wider variety of interpreters and songs; all in order to achieve better results in future editions of the contest.

"Thanks to the great viewing numbers, we're glad to say that +Canal, another important broadcaster, has decided to join forces with MasRTV to help the development of Masiosare in the contest. We'll also split broadcasting costs, which is good for both of us. We'll both look for different talents that would like to represent Masiosare in the contest", said Maurilia Jonguitud.

"We'll be alternating with MasRTV to select different and diverse entries. While MasRTV focuses mostly in Spanish, we'll be looking for entries in any other language. This broadens the options for sending good songs to the Song Contest. It's a win-win situation for both our broadcasters, and we hope this will reflect in good results for Masiosare in the contest", said Esther Morales, CEO of +Canal.

MasRTV has already decided the Masiosarean representative for edition #24. But +Canal will look for the country's second representative for edition #25. Both broadcasters will alternate for sending an entry to the ESCcchat Song Contest. And while MasRTV will concentrate in sending songs in Spanish, +Canal will look for potential talent in any of the minority languages spoken in Masiosare.

This is the second time MasRTV and +Canal work together to transmit important events in Masiosare, the first time being barely last year with the successful transmission of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
