Hexelbourg has participated in ESCChat Song Contest since the country's debut in the 3rd edition. The Hexelbourgian national broadcaster, TV5 Monde de Hexelbourg (TV5) broadcasts the contest for the Hexelbourgian audience each time and organizes the selection process for its entries. Hexelbourg has also participated before in Festival of Freedom, but decided to pull out after the 8th edition due to diplomatic problems with the administration togheter with Republic of Eigerland. TV5 Monde is also currently attending to other contests where Far Eastern music is priority.

Hexelbourg has chosen for EurAsia Music Competition - 4th edition

TV5 Monde and Hexelbourg featured as South Korea has as one of the last countries, sent its entry and delegation to Paris, France for the upcoming 4th edition of EurAsia Music Competition. Due being a rookie, the country has to compete in the 2nd semi final heat at Palais de Congres before even dreaming to aim great results in the Grand Final evening.

Already qualified for the final after good results in Rotterdam, Holland: San Marino, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Serbia, Ukraine, Greece, Holland, France and Portugal. The participating lists is are yet not concluded (submission window closes on Sunday).

Regarding Asia Sound Festival - Manila, the Philippines
Hexelbourg once again featuring as Vietnam has made its decision in choosing which representatives to send to Manila, the Philippines. As this is a special edition, participating countries are this time allowed to invite and send foreign artists as their representatives. Therefore, TV5 Monde togheter with the public audience have decided to send T-ara ft. Supernova (Choshinsung) to the capital of the Philippines. Being 4th in the previous edition in Jakarta, Indonesia, our delegation is directly qualified for the grand final.

Withdrawal?

Hexelbourg and its tv broadcasters will discuss wether to participate in the 12th edition of escChat song contest or not due to busy schedule in the upcoming week, and also because of unacceptable circumstances in the contest. If the country decides to submitt an entry, there will be no national finals, but simply an internally choice.

Hexelbourg ready for Worldvision!

Hexelbourg will be featuring as People's Republic in China furthermore in Worldvision due to unavailablity to feature as South Korea.
