Despite my post of 1st May it seems I did promise a Thank You for this year last year, so here goes. It is difficult though…

Thank you to SVT for buggering things up. I wonder if results would have been different if they hadn't stuck their oar in. Probably not the top but maybe further down. And maybe not the best start for the casual viewer. Someone I know who watches it because it's on had to wait for song number 6 before she found something in her opinion decent enough to listen to. And that from a non- country. Ken Bruce said he thought the quality of the songs was better this year.

Thank you to my internet for failing just as Cascada came on for the final. It meant I didn't have to listen to it or see Natalie's thunder thighs again, so that was good.

But to be serious for a moment (as if the previous bit wasn't), it's been said before but this site has proved a blessing in disguise for quite a few people and long may it continue. People come and people go but the site itself is the star performer here.

Huge thanks to jw for all his hard work on the site and all the innovations he has made this year. Those of you who have joined during the year wouldn't believe the changes from last year - and it was still bloody good then! It's no secret I'm not a fan of all of them, but this is where I came in and so where i should shut up.
