I had the best holidays ever in the best island ever and I'm very sad that I 'm back (and very tired). BUT, before I sleep for ..oh, I don't know...10-12 hours...I'm going to show you some of the wonderful things I saw (too bad the best one I can't show a pic of..yet..but more on this later).

This is Zante or Zakynthos..the capital. At the cafe on the left I was sitting just last night ...ON THE RIGHT! I was too tired last night..LOL



This is Laganas, about 10 kms from the capital, where I was staying.



This is my hotel (lovely).



This is the sea turtle of Zakynthos, careta-careta..I saw one exactly like this picture and I was scared because I thought it was a monster at 1st ;D



This was my favourite tavern with live music...called Arekia which means traditional Zante song.



This was our favourite beach..Banana beach.



This was the view from Mpohali, the spot I liked the most..it's on a hill and has the best sweets!

Zakynthos seems lovely Perhaps I should have gone there as planned, though Chios which we chose instead at that time was really great too.

I've been to Chios, too, and I liked it a lot but the local colour of Zakynthos was...out of this world!!!
