Empelia is a mixed country. We have a one-chamber-parliament (with 150 seats), a Chancellor and a Prime Minister.

The Hungarian minority in Empelia was unhappy with the situation as it was. Being the 6th ethnic group in Empelia, they claimed a right to be an official language in our country. For a short time, rumours came up that the Hungarians forced EmTR, the Empelian broadcaster to change the contest-name to Empelország, however, after an open discussion, it was decided not to change the name.

Biggest changes are:
- Recognizing Hungarian as an official language
- Minister of Safety (MoS): Jo Williams (LPP) and Minister of Defence (MoD): Karel-Jan van Ipenburg (EDN) were forced to withdraw from their functions, as they had a questionable role in fighting the revolution with violence, without permission from higher powers. MoS Williams is replaced by Ms. Magdolna Wolf. MoD van Ipenburg is replaced by Kati Rúzsa.
- The Empelian currency is now the Empelian fórínt.

what should we expect from a non-juche communist country but all this shakiness?

After the recent Hungarian revolution in our wonderful country, miss Katalin Rakonczai, leader of the Hungarian minority, has asked for the addition of the green colour in the flag.
In exchange for this, one other colour had to disappear. As all colours are representing an ethnic group in our country, this had to be talked about with other delegations. The German delegation demanded to keep the yellow colour and even insisted on making it slightly darker, to be a combination between Yellow and Orange.
Red is the only colour representing all ethnic groups, and therefore had to stay. The English, Dutch, Czech, Hungarian, German and Empelian delegations insisted on letting this colour stay.
Last option was the blue colour. The English, German and Empelian delegation were neutral in this case.
After a lot of discussion between members of the Czech, Dutch (as they were represented by the blue colour) and the Hungarians (wanting a green part), they agreed to change the blue for green. This was also to mark the green-left political course our country is following.

Furthermore it was decided to change the order of the colours from Blue-Red-Yellow to Orange-Red-Green.
The rose was, as it is the national symbol, placed in the middle.

CHANGES ALL OVER AGAIN

What is happening?
Another upcoming group of minorities, the Empelian Greeks, has decided to ask for the government to recognise them and their language, Empelian Greek, as official in Empelia.

What happened to the Empelian Czechs?
The Empelian Czechs realised their say in politic decisions, and more importantly escChat Song Contest entries, was cut down to a mininal level. Therefore they decided to give their spot away. The confusion is caused because the Czechs did not appoint any of the minorities to replace them.

What will happen now?
The Greeks have asked for permission to replace the Czechs. This has been approved by all ethnic groups, except the Dutch, who still believe they need to have more rights than the other groups.

Isn't it extemely dangerous, since this is the second major change in less than 4 months?
No. We have decided to create two extra ministeries. One of them will specifically be for decisions like the ones made right now: Ministery of Ethnic Affairs (MoEA). The important post of minister there will be taken by Mr. Loukas Vissigiannis.
The other new ministery will be the Ministery of Youth Affairs (MoYA). Minister here will be mrs. Sofia Alkarizou.
Furthermore, the English Empelians have asked to create a group of so-called Head Of Ethnicities. This means that every single group appoints a leader who will discuss certain issues with Mr. Loukas Vissigiannis.
