    Hi everyone, as I'm the host of this edition and as there won't be more results shows any more, at least for now, it was decided that the results of this edition would be made on the chat.

    Not that I like this idea, because I don't, but because it seems to be the best for now. It will be us typing on chat how we voted and the cross table on contest site will be updated continually after each vote so you can see how it stands.

    The day of the results will be debated now. It seems both James and Adam can't make it Friday and both Sheep and Nick can't make it Saturday so I will open a poll to decide which one you want. You have to keep in mind the results will take a bit longer as they are typed and updated on the moment so be aware of that when you vote.

    The options you have are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. For Wednesday it would have to start around 20.00pm or 20.30 because like I mentioned before it would have to be early because of the long show plus the fact of being during week and people needing to work/study on next day.

    I have voted wednesday for a few reasons:
    1. I will not be here on Friday
    2. nick and sheep will not be here on Saturday
    3. People are more likely to have plans at the weekend so more people could be unavailable on Friday/Saturday
    4. Wednesday's are usually quiet in chat, so having the results then may encourage more people to come to chat on a weekday.
    5. As there is no results show which takes days to produce in advance, I see no need to delay until the weekend.

    I like the idea of having in on Wednesday. Let us give it a try then. I can see it bringing more people to chat on a normally quiet night, and it allows us to free up our weekend.

    Doing it on Wednesday has the added advantage that the song submission phase for #28 would open that night and we could even have songs revealed during the upcoming weekend when the results of #27 would have conventionally taken place...

    Seems fine. I might miss it though, a possible job opening at my uncle's chain has opened and I may get a job, but if I am away from home I'll try to borrow a laptop. Good luck, everyone.

    I voted Wednesday for a couple of reasons:
    - I support what BAS said about getting more people, what JW said about submission opening sooner and Este about keepin a weekend free.
    - It's my birthday party Saturday:P

    Wednesday suits me very much..as I got my program from school today and Thursdays I start at 12 :D Saturday suits me, too, after all, as I'm going out on Friday this week. But I'm voting for Wednesday because as usual I'd rather have the results sooner than later ;)

    i had plans on wednesday. but thats the option that will win anyway, so ill try to cancell them.but i cant have dinner sooner than 20.00 (i cant do anything about that, its when the dinning hall opens) so i would please ask you to start as late as possible (20.30 e.g.)

    about the votes... do i have to write my votes down when i finalise or will i be told how i voted that night?

    It looks like it will be Wednesday by a clear and decisive majority :D

    The results procedure shouldn't take as long as people are thinking. There are 31 voters - assuming everyone does vote - and if each person took a minute to announce their votes, that's 31 minutes. I can't imagine anyone taking longer than two minutes, so that'd be 62 minutes.

    So it'll still finish earlier than you expect even if we start a bit later.

    The page showing your finalised votes on the contest site will remain open on that night for people to check the way they voted.

    The votes people give will be checked to make sure they're correct, so make sure you get them right. :P

    Sorry about that... but it seems that we can't seem to find a date that everyone is satisfied with. It's impossible to schedule a show for a date and time that pleases all of the people all of the time. But majority wins.

    Well, to me it really doesn't matter if it is wednesday, saturday or sunday but as I see most of the people prefer wednesday so it wouldn't change a lot if I voted for friday or saturday:P I only ask to start it at 20:30 because I can't be here before that time. ty :)
