Much appreciation to all those people who voted for us, allowing us to have by far our best result to date, especially those countries who gave us 12 points - Masiosare, Miasnakan and Furnyland. I am particularly grateful to Miasnakan for maximum points in both the Semi-Final and Final, BUT (and I'm sorry, Mork, but you have to admit this is a biggie) HUGE THANKS to jw for his 24 mind-blowing points.

Anyway, back to normal for this edition...

This song is from a Spanish singer/songwriter who is based in London, having attended the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and having been described by Sir Paul McCartney as a "very talented songwriter". It is not released for another few days (so, Luis, it is up-to-date), and luckily for me (and especially for me, obviously) the video has appeared on YouTube in the last few days. It's all coming together…

It's bluesy and soulful (my description) and "low down and dirty" (someone else's). I'm a bit miffed, if he's been where I think he's been today!

It's a song I heard a couple of weeks ago and loved. It wasn't available even to download (I was telling Adam and James) and has only been added to YouTube a couple of days ago.
