  1. Luis DLC I spread Eurovision joy in the US, oy

:no:The Norwegian contenders sang Norway's first ever entry from 1960, Voi Voi, in the national final in their own styles. At 2:27 you can see Nora Brockstedt who is now 89 and who I think Lady GaGa will look like in sixty years :P

Alexander Rybak either sings or plays his violin along to My Heart Is Yours ( Norway 2010), Fly On The Wings Of Love ( :dk: Denmark 2000 - winner of that year), Hold Me Now ( :ie: Ireland 1987 - winner of that year), Haba Haba ( Norway 2011 - Stella couldn't make it because of a family tragedy :(), Fångad Av En Stormvind ( :se: sweden 1991 - winner of that year), Satellite ( :de: Germany 2010 - winner of that year), Hard Rock Hallelujah ( :fi: Finland 2006 - winner of that year), Fairytale ( Norway 2009 - winner of that year :P)

In Denmark a choir of 1,100 people of all ages did my personal favorite winner ever, Dansevise ( :dk: Denmark 1963), shown below.

Sjonni's Friends, Iceland's 2011 representatives, did a medley at the press conference that year. They sang Wild Dances ( :ua: Ukraine 2004 - winner of that year), Fly On The Wings Of Love ( :dk: Denmark 2000 - winner of that year), an Icelandic cover of Gente Di Mare ( :it: Italy 1987), Save All Your Kisses For Me ( :uk: UK 1976 - winner of that year), In My Dreams ( Norway 2005), Laß die Sonne in dein Herz ( :de: Germany 1987), What's Another Year? ( :ie: Ireland 1980 - winner of that year), Satellite ( :de: Germany 2010 - winner of that year), and Never Ever Let You Go ( :dk: Denmark 2001).

Feel free to add some of your favorite live covers. :)
  2. Luis DLC I spread Eurovision joy in the US, oy

I attempted to fix the flags, then remove the text completely and just leave where the video comes from, but it won't work. So blame the site, not me because I tried to remedy the situation :P
  3. I'm not sure if this really fits in the thread, as they're not covers per se, but I really did love the :se: vs. medley during the final of Melodifestivalen in 2010.

I can't help but laugh every time Hanne Krogh yanks Bettan's scarf - she nearly decapitates her!

  4. NickEmpel BURGER AND FRIES

Is it just me or did Kikki Danielsson really lose all her vocal capacities that night?

Here is one of my favourites of all time. It's Loes Luca, a Dutch comedian/actress/(singer) singing a medley of Eurovision classics during our NF in 2003. (And just look at how big the audience is... back then the broadcaster actually cared)

    And... this one
Never thought I would say this, but 'Fairytale' actually sounds ok when Rybak is replaced by Josh Dubovie and Niamh Kavanagh :o

And I love the fact they haven't done anything to prepare themselves for this. You can actually see Niamh telling Josh which lines he's gonna sing during the performance...

A medley of eurovision song in our national final in 2008 sang by all participants, dressed as they were in their performances so it looks kinda strange to see vania that was on the black dress (morning song) singing happy songs :P, the video has all the songs they sang together, but after that each one sang a bit of a song too, but this video only has the solo of ricardo soler (that is also in our national final this year) :( i can't find the video with the full performance :(
  11. NickEmpel BURGER AND FRIES

One of my favourite actresses in Holland, Simone Kleinsma, has done a sing-along show, including a Eurovision medley:
  12. adamacs RUTH DAVIDSON FOR PM.

Not all covers but i remember watching this when i lived in France - Télé Monte carlo were one of the broadcasters that showed it
  13. As Alice Svensson is competing for Villa Badia in this edition - here she is at the age of 14 singing "Everything"
