  2. Julio STRANGLES

I will only comment the big 5 and Sweden:

Sweden: better vocally but still not perfect.
Germany: good vocals but he is ''standing still'' to much he needs to move more its like he is bored.
France: the presentation is good but needs some improvements specially her voice in some parts.
Italy: great voice live, awful background and WHY is she not moving i expected this song to have moves like using the catwalk etc it loses by she standing on a big stage without going out of the same place.
Azerbaijan: powerful vocals good performance, I don't like the background and the backing singers dress though. But i dare to say: one more top 10 for Azerbaijan.
Spain: good performance, this might be the juries first place and surely this will be at least top 10.
UK: I like the background and the staging with the dancers and the guitar player, his vocals were not the best today but I'm sure he will improve them. Even so it was better than some of today and I still like it.
  3. Merjan BOSOPOFO ELSIE

I'm afraid I cba with Sweden any more; I just want to slap her.
As for Germany, I'm not sure he is standing still too much. I think it would be rather incongruous if he were singing about standing still and yet cavorting all over the stage. (I think his have been the most impressive vocals thus far - quite surprised I was.)
I was going to say I thought this was the best live performance I'd heard from Anggun until she got to the start of the second verse, where the words "pancake" and "board" suddenly leapt into my head. And someone needs to tell her that if she's going to wave her arm round like that she really needs to get the Immac* out. Maybe that's another one for Liam :P
I agree Nina's vocals were good but I still can't get away from the fact that she looks the whole time as if she has a smell under her nose. I don't have any problem with the "moves" as such, but they do look like they are huddled together for warmth on about a square metre in the middle of a humungous stage.
    And where is Enge?

  10. Merjan BOSOPOFO ELSIE

Well I'm not sure I'd go that far. He didn't quite make the ending I think, but had a fair stab at covering it up. The background is fab and they have done it so well to fit in with the song. I'm not sure about the dancers, though; some of it seems a bit frenetic. I think it might depend on what they're wearing. But all in all not a bad first go.
Julio and Jonas Persson like this.
