THANK YOU

  1. Merjan BOSOPOFO ELSIE

I don't know what I've done to deserve this. I must have been wicked in a former life.
  2. Merjan BOSOPOFO ELSIE

I'd just like to say THANK YOU once again to the website and all the people who I've chatted with. It was great fun, particularly through the contest to be able to say to other people who were interested, things like: Love/hate the dress! What has he done to his hair? Not liking this at all! How did this get through? WTF! etc.

Our posts have shown we have so many different opinions, which is why the results are so puzzling. The only thing I personally haven't heard any dissent about is How the Hell did Sweden finish so high? But likes/dislikes are so personal and that is why the whole thing is "bonkers" as Graham Norton said in an interview and probably, although we moan about it, why we love it so much. And all those people who said they would boycott 2013 won't. They'll be back.

And it will be just the same next year... but hopefully without Anette.

Of course, had I actually written this year's little epistle, I would have mentioned MPF Gaitana and how she has been subjected to terrible racial slurs. PBMPFG :(; Thanks, Liam!; how can Liam and Luke come at something from such a different angle and yet both be so good?: Sofi and her saggy tits; and wtf told her it would be a good idea to go on dressed as Tart of the Year; WHY did Switzerland not qualify? They seem to have even fewer friends in Europe/Eurovison than the UK; the common consensus country for ending up too high is lithuania; and Eurovision this year was even better in Newchat.

Thank you jw. Couldn't have done it without you. :awe:  :awe:

See you all (including [and especially] Anette ofc) in Sweden for Thank You Part the Third, 2013.

Earlier this week I said I was feeling another THANK YOU coming on.

During the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, jw said it was like Eurovision; we were all watching an international event, together, yet apart. We were all discussing it, giving our opinions, agreeing and disagreeing. It was a few days later, when I tried to impart some great Olympic information to my husband and received not even a flicker of acknowledgement that I realised that being here is like being with a family. The things I say to you are the things I (probably) should be saying to him, but I gave up long ago, because the reaction is usually the same.

It's such a pity that tonight I really didn't want to be here...

To put it back at the top of the list of recent forum posts. Why else?
  15. Merjan BOSOPOFO ELSIE

I did think that, but it's been right up there ofc.
