Oh dear, let's hope jw is wrong (just for once dear, please be wrong) This is the person being touted as the UK's singer at Malmö in her latest live performance: http://music.uk.msn.com/features/ki...fail-and-other-woeful-live-vocal-performances (Or don't bother reading it and go straight to the video):
well, she seems to be okay on a live performance, and ofc coming from a band known (Girls Aloud) she might do well, but then again depends on the song she will be given, if it is a strong ballad it might have good chances of doing well, but again depends on the song and the performance she gives into it
The people who are sticking up for her are saying she sounded nervous. Well if she was nervous with an audience of a couple of million on ITV, Heaven only knows how nervous she would be with around 125 million people watching her in Eurovision. If she were to go and then stuffed up she could finish her career - and end any hopes of anyone decent representing the UK for years more to come.
Anyway, it won't be a song by Fredrik Kempe, he denied it. He admitted though that he had been helping her with her new album.
Oh lord, I hope it's not Kimberley. She seems like a nice enough girl in interviews and stuff, but she's got a very weak ,weedy voice. Very much a case of looks over vocal ability.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand there's a new rumour: it seems Mika was seen at the BBC building last week and did a photo shoot right after that. He also seems to be free in May. According to some, that's a sign....
The contents of the tweet sum the BBC up. Their plans are "taking shape" apparently. They should've taken shape and been finalised long before now.
Well, he's appearing in France on 19th May. Hopefully it'll be a triumphant appearance 24 hours on... ... but somehow I doubt it.
