Ukraine withdraws

    What many expected has now been confirmed. Ukraine will not participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, stating financial and political issues as the main reason.

    With that, Ukraine is the first country to withdraw this year after the comebacks of Cyprus, Bosnia-Herzegovina and most likely Serbia and Bulgaria.

    Sad, sad news about Ukraine.

    I'm relatively saddened by Ukraine withdrawing - not because of the fact that we'll be missing their entry but moreso the fact that they've withdrawn because of such difficult circumstances, in the sense.

    Hopefully they'll be back next year once they've gotten the entire situation under their control.

    Imo Russia should be kicked out too, it's their fault too if Ukraine is not able to take part at ESC.
