this is a song from 2015 called 'When We Were Human' by Story of the Running Wolf but it's just been sped up. I looked up the lyrics and this is what I found:

    Rumour quelled, I think. :baby:

The song has supposedly leaked through a Czech radio programme - albeit, it's uncertain if this is the actual entry as there seems to be another one titled 'If You Could See Me Now' that is yet to be released according to documents. (And it could also just be the demo version - and it also could just be an album track. It's all very uncertain - take this rumour with a grain of salt.)

Plot twist: I like it but I'm cautiously awaiting confirmation tomorrow.

  8. sokrates1988 I HATE EUROVISION

Its a clone of last year and we know how that ended up and where is the big name this wonderful record company were on about ^_^
  9. Rua Haldor Lægreid Impersonator

Hey, the rumour came true. It's James Newman with 'My Last Breath' for the UK!

It's quite pleasant (although it could've done with a bit more oomph in the final chorus) - I had thought maybe the leak was a demo but no, the song really is only about 2:30. Fingers crossed for a decent placing! (Also, what an odd video.)

    Good luck!

Its the usual tripe from the bbc a dull song sung by another nobody last place here we come
  11. CTP Jass hater

Well, it's a song. Will be interesting to see if this can be pulled off on stage with any power behind it. Being Eurovision, they missed a trick here though and could have had 30 seconds of Na Na Na's.

Was it a WARM midsummer night, CTP?
  13. Mina Member with a "past"

It's ok. It reminds me a little of Denmark.
  14. jw HI. I'M ADAM SCOTT.

I agree with Mina that it is "ok". Which is an achievement in itself for the UK in recent years.

That said, it's a song that I enjoy the more times that I hear it, but that's not a good thing for an automatic qualifier with one shot.

  15. James ... and his things xD

I think it is better than other recent attempts indeed. It's better than last year, so it should avoid that last place that Sok is predicting.

  16. Anaconda I'm as sick as fuck.

I echo the OK, it's a pleasant song, but I am also curious about the staging and whether it manages to inject a bit more oomph, like Rua said. I hope it doesn't do the opposite, sometimes BBC stagings can have a dampening effect. But overall it's a decent entry and I am crossing my fingers for a decent result.
