Well, there is a way to avoid bitching and problems and I intend to follow it when I win and host a contest (if I ever win..lol).
Simply, the songs can be presented without mentioning the 'country' they come from...so noone can say that someone voted for the person/country and not for the song.
That's what I'm going to do when my turn comes and I hope you all think about my suggestion, too.

PS When the contest had 1st started, that's how I thought we would do it

Anyway je suis dans agreeance avec david and everybody else! At the end of the day it is just a bit of fun, the results won't affect your life in anyway whatsoever and whether you come 2nd or 22nd really doesn't matter The point is that we all just enjoy it and not take it too seriously, in fact not take it seriously at all! And if people start getting stroppy over the results, and start taking it seriously then it will die as it won't be about having fun anymore, and it would be very dissapointing if that did happen

And also I think mina's idea of not revealing the people behind the songs is quite a good idea, as not only would it put personal issues behind us, but also make it more exciting as we could speculate till death about who chose what song
