Australia's unofficial votes (updated)

  1. CTP Jass hater

Every year SBS replays the contest at a more friendly hour than the live shows, and people are able to vote on the SBS website in an unofficial way for their favourites. Maybe it offers some insights to our votes, maybe not. This year 65,000 people watched the first semi final live, while 231,000 watched the replay.

Due to me forgetting about the replay, I had to painstakingly go through the online replay to write out the rankings :mal:

Us topping our own pole is not much of a shock. What Romania is doing up there I have no idea. Clearly though Semi 2 had a lot more liked songs than the first, but we knew that already.

The above is the unofficial voting from the final replay during the evening. Viewing figures for the live show averaged 166,000 viewers, rising to 240,000 for the announcement of the winner, while 246,000 viewed the replay, according to tvtonight.com.au

A couple of surprises: Spain, Azerbaijan and France did better here than in the actual televote, Estonia and Iceland did a lot worse than the televote, and Norway out-polled our own song.

Germany (last) and the UK (4th last) at the arse-end of the board I'm afraid probably doesn't count as a surprise. They were joined here by Slovenia and Israel as the only countries to get less than a 50% rating.
