【YOUR 2009 Music Awards!】

As we're near to an end of this year which has been rather amazing and also pretty diva-crazy, I think it would be a nice idea for everyone here to summarize their thoughts and rankings of the 2009 music year. I also hope that we can for once ignore this typical "contest" barriere between us, where you simply insist in not sharing any songs or music interests in this site due to breaking your own 'profit' in the contest. As we know each other quite well, I think it's to be honest not a big deal if one of your chat-mates use the song you originally had in your hands. And it's certainly not stealing either in my opinion. So.. let's have fun, and enjoy each other's unique musical tastes and reviews of 2009

Can't say I could understand why people took to Cheryl Cole's whiney solo stuff, La Roux's high-pitched drone, Dizzee Rascal's speaking over music, Little Boot's lack of inspiration in her own music or Alexandra Burke's burkishness.. she does try though, bless her. While Adam Lambert has truly made himself into a right wussy mess, my number one flopsters have to be the Black Eyed Peas Verson 3.pt.boom.pow.pow. Everything on The E.N.D. disappoints me.. it's so badly produced and UNMUSICAL. Shame because I like their older stuff.

Getting so off my head during a God is an Astronaut gig that I cannot remember any of the gig.

The non-qualification of Intars Busulis.. Probka was passionate and ohh soo subversive.

Hadise, well what else could it be. OK, that and "Hora din Moldova". Not much could beat the ethnic wailing that was that song. I am glad it can now be a part of my life. Thank you Nelly Ciobanu.
