I will follow Sheep's example, and also make my own top 10 of ESCChat Song Contest Songs. Before we start with the top 10, I would like to mention my three favourite winners. I did not add any winners in my top, although these three definitely would have been in there:

Number 10

Number 10: Jeanny - Falco (San Minino, Edition 3)

I know, maybe this is a weird choice, but somehow, I always adored this song. Falco was, for me, a legend. This song has some kind of weird power for me, and that is why I put it in my top 10. I absolutely don't understand why on earth this got a toilet award, but that's just my taste

Number 9

Number 9: If A Song Could Get Me You - Marit Larsen (LuLuland, Edition 10)

What can I say? An absolute gorgeous song, it deserved its placing! When I saw this was entered in the contest, I got addicted to it. I had heard it once or twice before, but when I saw it here, that became once or twice a day.... Some kind of happy flow is around this song!

Number 8

Number 8: Stadt - Cassandra Steen feat. Adel Tawil (Arbana, Edition 7)

Also a song before my time. When Sheep did his Top 10, 'Stadt' came up again. I decided to listen to it, because everyone said it was Arben's best entry ever. And from what I have heard in his other entries, this is completely true. 'Stadt' is an amazing song, German still is one of my favourite languages, so that makes a Top 10 for Arbana!

Aw, thanks, Nick. But you guys know that after I sent it I didn't listen to it as much as I used to. To be honest after sending some of my entries that I never skipped on my player to the contest, I stopped listening to them as much as before or would even skip them.

Great choices so far Nick as you know "Stadt" was my number eight as well and "If A Song Could Get Me You" just missed out on my list! I genuinely don't understand Falco at all - is it a mainland European thing?

EDIT: I've just had a look at his Wikipedia page. He is sort of a one-hit wonder in the UK; "Rock Me Amadeus" got to number one in 1985.

Haha I knew most people wouldn't understand Falco, but yeah, my taste is just a bit weird

Number 7: Nothing Like The Summer - Carmen Rasmussen (Safinette, Edition 18)

This was a truly smart move by Safinette. This summer-country song was one of the best I have heard. I can honestly say this entry was excellent!

Number 6: Misirlou - Glykeria (San Minino, Edition 15)

And another weird choice? YES VERY. I totally agree. You can see I 'only' gave Misirlou 3 points in Edition 15 from me. However, as some of you might know, I am taking a Greek course. At this course, we always listen to Greek music when we make our excersises. Misirlou comes up every week and I started to appreciate more. So, there we have Misirlou in my top 10!

Number 5: Le Tourbillon De La Vie- Vanessa Paradis(Safinette, Edition 14)

Weird having a song that scored 0 in your all time top 10? YES VERY. But this is a definite grower. It started growing on me after Edtion 14, and now I regret not giving any points to this awesome, French song. Well done, Almila!.

Number 4

Number 4: Northern Star - Melanie C (Hatican City, Edition 15)

What can I say? A truly amazing song, sent by Hatican City. Some of you will say that doesn't happen too often, and maybe this is true. But I can only say Northern Star was a true masterpiece for our contest. It fully deserved my 10 points!

Number 3: Willkommen - Rosenstolz (Støkkanslåndet, Edition 14)

I do love German music. I do love Rosenstolz. That made me love this song. 'Willkommen', quite a good title when I debuted. Somehow, this song kept going through my mind and therefor deserves this top 3 position. As we could say, a Bronze Medal for Støkkanslåndet with their song 'Willkommen'

Number 2: Not Ready To Make Nice - Dixie Chicks (Lusitânia, Edition 8)

Number 2, a song before my time. But still, one of the best songs ever sent to our contest. Este is known for a bad taste (we can all remember one or two entries that were horrific...) but these ladies absolutely would have gotten 12 points when I would have been in that contest! Este, you and your country Lusitânia fully deserve this silver medal!

Quite an obvious number one for me. Why oh why didn't we give our Sheep a back-to-back victory? Two of the best songs EVER in a row: 'Nitten' and 'Learning To Breathe'! What should I say more? A truly awesome song and it fully deserved my GOLD MEDAL in my top 10. Number one ever, number one of 466 awesome songs! Sheep, awesome choice this song. absolutely awesome, I have no more words, just AWESOME!
