Albania has already confirmed its participation in Eurovision 2012 which will be held in Baku and the selection system remains the same , through Festivali i Këngës . This year FiK will be celebrating its 50th birthday and according to the organisators , the show will be magical . Unlike last year , this year there will be only one host - Adi Krasta a well known albanian journalist and TV host.The festival will last four nights , one of the night will be dedicated to all the FiK winners. September was the month that song submittions were open to all the interested singers and it closed somewhere in mid-October . Just like the previous years , the entries remain secret until the festival kicks off unless a certain participant wishes to release her/his song earlier - which happened before , but the participants are already revealed to FiK fans.

KM for Eurovision

KM isn't live , plus I bet 50% of KM singers can't sing live, and if KM becomes the national final I'm sure the quality of songs will remain the same as of FiK .

Well As Usual, In General We Have No Idea Of The Songs Prior To The Festival So Its Very Much A Watch It Live Online & See Whats Good & Whats Awful Situation LOL! Good Luck To Albania & Lets Hope They Can Regain The Glory Of 2004 !!!

So What To Expect? Well Expect The Unexpected, Sometime Albania Has Real Jewel Songs That Are Amazing, But They're The Ones That Never Win 'Festivali i Këngës', Then Sometimes Its Just A Plethora Of Absolute Randomness, Either Way, Albania Is Generally Very Eclectic.

Yeah , we end up sending one of the worst songs in the nf , I hope the jury gets over this stupid decision and gets a eurovisionish music taste and send whats good in eurovision so we can beat that 7th placement in 2004 , and why not , even win it , Its about time But unfortunately from the names above , I'm not sure if theres a serious contender to win ESC . Rona Nishliu has an excellent voicr but I bet her song is a ballad.

Hey Lilly, do you know where we can find a webstream for this? We had trouble finding one last year so we don't want to leave it too late this time

I'm not aware of the existence of a RTSH stream , but last year RTK ( Radio and Television of Kosovo) broadcasted the show and there's a stream for RTK , so you might be able to see it , I'm not sure whether they'll broadcast the semi finals or not , but I'm pretty sure for the final.

Kosovo is so excellent.

normally a very poor quality webcast pops up to watch FiK, i remember watchin it in 2007, 2008 & 2009 via a very poor webcast, (but watchable) then in 2010 and 2011 with a decent, but still constantly buffering and pain in the ass stream

FiK 2011 is this year

lol, i always get annoyed with it how its layed out, coz its always in december, i mean for the respective ESC lol so the FiKs for ESCs 2007 - present ive seen, like to me this is basically FiK for ESC 2012, however i have always known them by edition, like this is number 50
