    erm... I like it, then I started to really like it, but now I'm losing interest in it. The girls vocals aren't strong, but it's the first wowsa song of SF2 - but I can't see it making the final, and once again crappy lyrics ... a weak Irish entry, but better than 2008 :D

    It's enjoyable, for sure, but Sk8r Boi was released seven years ago, and it all feels a bit dated. It's kinda symptomatic of every attempt Ireland has to modernise itself - as though Ireland's community of pop music experts consists singularly of Louis Walsh, who thinks that new up and coming pop phenomenon Gina G is the next big thing. Seems kinda lifeless and tired, but the song itself is alright, and certainly will be fun to watch on the night :)
