My promo for the first of the songs relates entirely to the title - the above is the Heaven's Gate in Zhangjiajie located within the Hunan Province of China.
It's open to visitors and it looks lovely but I wouldn't go anywhere near it as I'm afraid of heights and you have to go on cable cars and perilous sky walkways and such.
While the song's text has a mainly religious tone, I also choose to believe that a song can be interpreted any way you see fit. I see it as a thing of hope - that somewhere out there, there's a place where we can all meet again with the loved ones we lost and that hopefully, somebody keeps the way open for us. I think we can all agree with that sentiment.
