The draw for this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest is now complete and so it is time for my random song game to begin. I will (randomly) choose one JESC song every day for the next 13 days until I have heard them all. As I listen to each song I will leave my opinion on this thread. The songs will appear in the order that I pick them out, starting with...

Romania
This song is bland. I think that the music style used here is outdated and not many people will relate to it. This could give Romania its lowest ever score at JESC.
My Rating: 3/10

Belgium
This is a very upbeat and happy tune that will certainly light up Belgium's prospects for a good result. However, I do not see this as a winner.
My Rating: 8/10

Serbia
This is another happy-go-lucky tune, however it doesn't quite capture the same nice feeling as Belgium manages to. It's certainly better than last year's Serbian entry.
My Rating: 6/10

Ukraine
What the hell is a poplar? Anyway, this song is something different, which should help bring in a few extra votes. This could be a top 5 placing.
My Rating: 7/10

Malta
This is a good poppy tune, albeit a little bland. I fail to see how this will stand out when Ukraine follows it, but I don't think it will be right at the bottom.

Sweden
I find this track a little repetitive and I found it difficult to work out the structure of the song. I fear it isn't memorable enough to withstand being the first performance of the night.

FYR Macedonia
This song is very average. I am not sure that being the last one to perform will even help it that much.

Holland
I like the rhythm of this one, but I'm not overly keen on the "Click Clack" parts as I feel it draws too much attention away from the rest of the song. This won't do well, unfortunately.

Belarus
WTF was that?!? I can see why a lot of people want this song to win, but I feel that some will fail to appreciate the song. This could be popular with the juries.

Georgia
This song keeps changing throughout and I find that quite annoying - it quickly becomes very difficult to identify the song.
My Rating: 4/10

Armenia
This song is nought but crap. There is way too much shouting and we've already had a football song in JESC. I hope this comes last.

Cyprus
I like the chord progression of this one, it builds up well. The negative point I have to make is the seemingly poor singing quality of the girl.
My Rating: 5/10

Russia
This is a nice one and will definitely do well, with a chance of winning. The chorus sounds strikingly like the chorus of Chiara's "Angel", only faster and in Russian.
My Rating: 8/10

Terrible!!!

JESC is nothing while comparing to ESC and that's the main reason why I'll never watch JESC again, not after watching JESC for first (and last) time, it was not fun! The songs were as terrible as childish Disney songs, and the voting process is as bad as it was before we have the jury system back at ESC.

Sorry for those who disagree with me, but I simply can't stand JESC. ESC is enough for me.

About JESC this year ... the quality on the whole is rather horrific! But Belgium & Sweden have saved it and Holland isn't quite as bad as I originally thought Either way the quality was better last year imo.

Belarus is the favourite? Oh dear god JESC is well and truly fucked. If Belarus win, JESC has probably died The thing is Georgia won with a similar novelty sort of song but those kids were likeable, and the song believe it or not, had a tune to it ... the Belarusian kid looks like hes on speed, and the song is, well ... unique!?

Basically i'm praying Belarus don't win, cos I like JESC somewhat Belgium or Sweden ftw ofc
